DESCRIPTION:You can check out the venues where organised events in Connemara below. They also know that many people enjoyed taking part in Darkness Into Light in their own way last year when they could not join together in the usual way. So\, this year\, they know that Darkness Into Light will take on many forms and people will come together in different and creative ways to share a sunrise moment and stand in solidarity with people impacted by suicide and self-harm. \nYou can get involved in Darkness Into Light in 3 ways:\n1. Sign up to one of their in-person walks across Ireland and the world.\n2. Take part your own way and sharing your sunrise moment with family\, friends or colleagues.\n3. Take part in the Darkness Into Light Challenge – when you select this option\, they are waiving the sign-up fee for anyone who pledges to fundraise €200. DESCRIPTION:Connemara Mountain Walking Festival\, Leenane 2025\nA Céid míle fáilte awaits you in Leenane on the shores of the Killary Fjord for the resumption of the Connemara Mountain Walking Festival over the weekend of 2nd – 4th of May \nOur goal is the let you experience what this fabulous community has to offer while getting close to some of the best scenery\, nature\, history and geology along the Wild Atlantic Way. The walks we organise are designed to suit all levels of ability and let you fully immerse yourself in the wild Connemara landscape. We want you to enjoy our area as much as we do. \n \nExplore some wonderful footage from past walks in our gallery of photos on this website. \nWe are fortunate to have professional guides who not alone are highly trained mountain leaders\, but are passionate about what they do to help make your experience all the more worthwhile. \nWhile the festival is organised during the busy autumnal season\, preparing for the coming winter\, for the farm families on whose lands we will be walking\, most can still find the time to accompany us on the walks\, something that can be very rewarding for all.
