Having just celebrated its first birthday, this hearty Oughterard hostelry has made a name for itself with live music, sporting coverage, and top-class pub fare. Breakfasts and brunch are a particular speciality in this family-run outfit – aside from their now-legendary variety of scones, their all-day menu features choice cuts such as breakfast burrito, smashed avocado, slow-roasted heirloom tomatoes, and acai sorbet. Available 9am-3pm, seven days a week.
