Join us for the 14th annual Clifden Traditional Music Festival, a celebration of Irish music, culture, and community in the heart of Connemara.

Festival Highlights

Thursday – The festival kicks off with a Youth Session, highlighting the incredible young talent that plays a key role in keeping our musical traditions alive.

Friday – The festivities begin with a performance by the Clifden National School Marching Band, followed by the Official Opening Concert in the evening. Later, experience the renowned Pub Session Trail, where lively tunes fill the town’s best pubs.

Saturday – A packed day of music, workshops, and entertainment:

Instrument Workshops – Learn from experienced musicians in a variety of traditional instruments.
Busking Competition – Enjoy the talent of street performers competing for top prizes.
5K Run/Walk – A great way to start the day with fun and fitness.
Street Entertainment & Town Square Music – Live performances bring a vibrant energy to Clifden.
Afternoon Pub Sessions – Music spills into the town’s pubs for an unforgettable atmosphere.
Headline Concert (Market Square, Open Air) – A festival highlight! Stay tuned for the exciting artist announcement.

Saturday Night – The Pub Session Trail continues, with music in every corner of Clifden.

Sunday – The festival closes with a Traditional Music Mass, followed by a Farewell Session, ensuring a memorable send-off.
