The Lodge Restaurant offer fresh local produce, Italian coffee and global wines in a laid back, chic atmosphere. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 8am to 11pm, seven days a week. A great option after a hike in the Connemara National Park and for those looking for a taste of Connemara with a twist!
We bake fresh bread and scones every morning and use only pure Irish butter. Our jam is made four miles away in Moyard. Our salads are 100% organic and grown beside the sea in Cleggan. We use Maldon sea salt on all our tables and in our kitchen. We use only Connemara Lamb. We grow our own mussels on Killary Harbour and know the people who catch our fish. Meats are provided by the village butcher. We hand cut our own chips in-house. Almost everything on the menu is made from scratch. We use generation-old recipies that we’ve ‘borrowed’ with great stealth from crafty chefs over the years.
