It is true to say that there is no shortage of public houses in Clifden, but it is also true to say that Vaughan’s Pub is unique amongst them.

This old pub has such an abundance of character, with hundreds of pieces of memorabelia. It would be easy to be so taken-in by it that you could stay looking at them for days. One thing is also sure at Vaughan’s………”the Guinness is great”.

Vaughan’s Bistro

The Bistro at Vaughan’s offers diners a mixture of traditional Irish cuisine and contemporary favourites. We are well known for our excellent Traditional Irish Stew and our unique Guinness Stout Pudding which are made from secret family recipes.

The dining experience is made all the more enjoyable in our traditionally designed dining room. It has an old-style stove and thatched roof, reminiscent of old Ireland. Live music on selected nights.
